no more BEER, free or paid from today until July the 18th this year (thats the day i give the GMAT exam)!! this is the tough decision ive made...and hope it helps me focus, insha allah!!
its also gonna save me a lot of money, which i will need to apply to universities abroad for the MBA course :) the idea is to use the principle of delayed gratification...in the thought of all the fun (and beer) that ill have after im the MBA, i will study will (atleast try to...cos the stakes are high LOL)
well i dont think its a great sacrifice when millions are unfed in this world, but maybe i owe it to myself to be a good boy and study. wotsay? SK, well start our company once im out....

this is an idea ive been toying with in my mind for some time now...a fortune player: someone who plays with others' fortunes. far from a fortune teller, this is someone who doesn't just tell your luck, but makes or breaks it: luck, life, fortune...everything you hold dear.
part of my plans for business education also arise from this dream of being a fortune player: someone who plays with the fortunes of entire corporations, wherein every move i make, every decision i take affects the lives of those corporations and thousands who depend on them directly or indirectly. i dream often of living this dream :)
the dream sounds funny i guess, but i think its ok to dream. to quote eleanor roosevelt, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams!
the question is, will i and if yes, when will i become the fortune player? insha allah...time will tell. wotsay?

truth is powerful...it liberates you. talk your mind :) it is much better than covering up your thoughts and adding to the chaos that life already is. sometimes atleast (talk of calculated risk).
i told a woman i quite adore that i like her...and it made me feel happy and good. it feels much better to keep things simple. wotsay?
