ma vie c'est le rodeo!
11.19.05 (6:29 am)   [edit]
this is courtesy cecile, my new french friend :) well, let me begin by saying that the heading means "my life is a rodeo" - well, it has been one since i wrote my last blog. a change for the better is whats happened. well, i love my workplace now - theres enough to do, and they are treating me well too. i even gave a training session which was well received. and ive got broadband at home.
to sum it up, life is just the cliched phrase "work hard, play harder and party hardest" - it was nice to be selected as the best dressed male at the annual day office party. ooh la laa laa

early last month, we'd been to goa (india) for our annual family vacation. it was a gift from me and my sis to our parents, who loved it to the core. it was better than a dream holiday with champagne dinners, parasailing, sunset cruises, water scooter rides and what not...family rules yaay!!!

well, i must not forget to mention the fun i had at the local oktoberfest last sunday with my roommate and other friends (another miss.D too!) and for the first time, i met an indian woman who loves beer - no small thing :) im also doing a lot of things that will determine my fate in the coming days and hope that l'annee prochaine will be a wonderful one. and im going home for christmas and new year's this time. advanced HNY to all at tblog!

i had gone alone on a trip to pondicherry three weeks before that - the first time i did something like that and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. pondicherry is a lovely place, which i recommend for everyone. i also did discover the joys of travelling alone - stuff like having no schedules, making new friends etc. prior to this, i had begun the next level of french classes which i am extremely pleased with. ive got good marks and am loving it too! one step closer to the dream of studying and living in le pays du vin :)
