"live...every moment!" - this is an adline for a local mobile network. it looks like ive been doing this literally for the past week (maybe should do it for the whole life).
[b]scene 1[/b]: monday 18th july 2005:
swamy takes the gmat and makes the 80th percentile, (though his dream was 90). lesser than his dream, but hes gotto live with what he got :) and of course he has to unwind and keep up the promise of delayed gratification.
[b]scene 2[/b]: tuesday 19th july 2005:
he goes to office, meets his friends and everything is back to normal again (read beer). for the next four days, they go to office @ 11 am, go out to lunch and beer from 1-4pm and leave office @ 5 pm. swamy's last working day is the 28th of july. on friday evening there was an extra team party with the current team.
[b]scene 3[/b]: saturday 23rd july 2005:
swamy's dream party started at 8:00 pm. there were 8 people and it went on till 6am - literally [b][i]ALL NITE[/i][/b]!
swamy, a,b,s,h,p,maata and beti :) what a group...what a bash! here are the stats: 19 cans and 4 bottles of beer, 2 vodka bottles and 1 bacardi rum - were washed down by dawn along with lots of food, music, movies and games. one vodka went straight into the [b]vodka melon[/b] - a water melon filled with vodka and refrigerated for the day. little wonder that it attracted attention from policemen who wanted to know the reason of all the [b]hullabaloo yaay[/b]!!
add to this a taxi ride in the middle of the night, new found love by a dog who would bark away the policemen, dumb charades (where everyone was competing for the position of mr/ms dumb!) and other antics. ive spoken of all-nite parties and heard of them too but this was literally "a night to remember". and, d is back..im really glad i could meet her before both of us leave for our own plans. gee, sometimes you feel good :)
im going home on the 28th and will be staying for 2 weeks, then go to hyderabad for a week (meet old friends) and come back on india's independence day (august 15th). here is the dawn of a new life..insha allah!

that party sounds like it was fun! i want to try the watermelon filled with vodka - how did that taste? I heard it gets you pretty tanked though! Did you get in trouble with the police?
